The Liberty Lake Police have asked us to remind everyone that all traffic and parking laws will be in effect. This includes, but is not limited to, the following RCWs from the Washington State Legislature.

RCW 46.61.570: Stopping, standing, or parking prohibited in specified places -- Reserving portion of highway prohibited.

RCW 46.16.381: Special parking for persons with disabilities Penalties Enforcement Definition.

Citations will be issued accordingly.

Anyone wanting to sell food during the yard sale needs to acquire the appropriate permits via Spokane Regional Health District. They can be contacted at (509) 324-1500. Visit the Spokane Regional Health District at http://www.srhd.org/safety/food/tfe.asp for more information about temporary food establishments.

ARTISANS WANTED!

Last year's event was so successful we are expanding it! So reserve your space now!! First come, first served. Food vendors are limited to one of each type. Also, all Artisans/Vendors are responsible for the appropriate handling of the sales tax. Please contact the Department of Revenue at 509-482-3800 with any questions or concerns. Vendors are required by the City of Liberty Lake to complete and return the APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL EVENT/VENDOR’S PERMIT. Please return this completed form with your registration and payment.

Registration fee is $50.00 for a 10x10 booth. Sign up forms will be available by May 2010. All vendor sign up forms must be postmarked by a date yet to be determined in order to participate in the 2010 event.
